Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of pleasant surprises and some disappointments. The tiny room on the top floor with no lift access and low ceiling, resembling a loft conversion, was surprisingly beautiful. I loved the unique touch of being able to see the brickwork on the outside-facing part of the room. However, the parking charges were an unexpected additional cost, and the luck of getting a good spot seemed random.
Despite some noise from the main road, the hotel offers a convenient location and attentive service. The rooms, although small for two adults and a child, were satisfactory once the windows were closed. The dining experience, while not exceptional, could be improved. Overall, a decent choice for a stay.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room was unique but had some issues with water overflow due to the lack of a drain. The location was convenient for my purpose, but the dining options were limited. The service was a bit disruptive but overall satisfactory.
The hotel made an effort to accommodate my dietary restrictions during dinner, but sadly, the room was not suitable for our family, especially for our Autistic daughter who found it dark and lacking a view. The service felt troublesome and lacking in helpfulness at times, despite a straightforward check-in process. The location had its perks but felt outdated, while the dining experience was rushed due to slow service, though the food quality was satisfactory.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, enjoying the spacious and well-decorated room, though the creaky floorboards could be bothersome. The service from the staff was top-notch, and the location was convenient for my early appointment at the hospital, albeit with some downsides. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with some delicious options but also room for improvement. Overall, a comfortable and friendly hotel with a few minor drawbacks.
It was our anniversary trip, and we stayed in a suite with a complementary bottle of prosecco. The room had an issue with the mains supply cable joined with insulation tape and the water supply seemed problematic in the morning. However, the rooms were a bit too hot for comfort.
The hotel is conveniently located near the Royal Hallamshire hospital and town center, making it ideal for specific visits. While the rooms had issues like musty smells and noise from the rain, the service was exceptional. Dining was average, and the facilities were decent considering the price.
The hotel had mixed experiences with rooms ranging from small and uncomfortable to beautiful and large. The service was a bit of a hit and miss with some staff being excellent and friendly while others lacked attentiveness. The location was great for various activities but had some minor inconveniences. The dining options were generally good, although there were some extra charges. The facilities were adequate but could use improvements in certain areas.
The hotel was nice, although slightly dark. The rooms had not got double glazing, and I was woken up by the rain on the windows. There was not enough tea, coffee, or milk in the rooms, just enough for one drink before going to bed and one drink in the morning. However, the stay was better than I could've expected, and I hopefully will return in the future.
The hotel was clean and comfortable, with friendly staff. The location is convenient but a little far from the city center. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped with two renovated bathrooms.
